SEEING OPPORTUNITES
Nelson Rockefeller said “The opportunities take shape within the problems.” The news bombards us with problems in the real estate market. Let’s look, instead, for the opportunities:
Entry Level Buyers: Multiple homes combined with relatively low interest rates, means many left behind in the past years’ buying frenzy can now purchase.
Move Up Sellers and Buyers: Sellers, it’s time to stop grieving the perceived loss of equity and look at the opportunity to move up. Each tier up the home dollar ladder means more homes per buyer and deeper discounts available.
Investors: Tenant’s vacancies have declined and rents are increasing. The large number of bank foreclosures make rehab projects plentiful. Landlords or “flippers”, can expect some tempting finds.
Sellers: Today, the homes with accurate pricing, careful presentation and smart marketing win the coveted buyer.
Real Estate Agents with a proven Track Record: Facing uncertainty, consumers turn to the agent who inspires confidence and possesses vast product knowledge. The consumers value an agent with strong negotiating skills and the courage to unflinchingly give them the facts.
I am grateful for the opportunities this difficult market presents. In such a climate, my skills and expertise are most needed and valued.
Your Realtor,
Myrna Bourcy
